Moreton Morrell International Rally 2003

If you didn't go, you missed a good rally. Good weather, good camaraderie and your favourite motorcycles - what more can you want. The rally team worked their socks off over the whole weekend, quietly resolving any problems that arose and managed to keep 99.9% of the rally goers happy and content. Many thanks to all those involved.

It was good to see so many old faces who haven't been around for a while and also good to meet our new US members Al & Kathy who have recently moved from the States to Dundee. Kathy has been selling custom designed pannier inner bags over there for the last 20 years and is now selling them here - they look good and well made - keep an eye on the Journal for their ad' or mail them for details at katanderson@earthlink.net

The Rally attracted 380 participants with 63+ day visitors (I think they stopped counting by then) and 8 dogs.

4.5 Kilos of coffee and 2,200 teabags were used - this raised donations of £1,105 for the Midland Sections pet charity, the Air Ambulance
